Here on my website, you can see selected drawings and watercolour sketches that I have produced during the last 5 years. I love to capture energy of cities and record memory of places and event by sketching directly on-location in my sketchbooks. Drawing and painting by direct observation is a meditative process that helps us to free our minds from daily worries and become curious about our living environment and capture the beauty of everyday life. 

My professional background and formal education is architecture and city design which I have practiced for over twenty years. I lived and worked in amazingly beautiful cities such as London, Manchester, Dubai and Dusseldorf and my home town Tabriz in Iran. These historic and yet contemporary cities have fuelled my creative energy both in architecture and visual arts.
